Edestus Newtoni (Newton's Devourer)

Edestids are always known for being mind-boggling. Giant abyssal macro-predatory shark-shaped chimaeras with disturbing jaw shapes filled with horrendous serrated teeth. While some edestids had the pair of silly crescent jaws, Edestus Newtoni (Greek for Newton's Devourer) had only one, using it to efficiently gut any creature that wanders into unsafe seas.
